Cruisers> > Eastwood 24

The Eastwood 24 used the Senior 23 hull produced in the 1970's.

She had a good underwater shape for displacement speeds with a deep skeg, so caused very little wash on the Broads.

Lots of varnished woodwork gave her a cosy interior.

Two berths forward, with a seperate heads compartment on the left.

The galley had all mod cons (before microwaves were invented anyway !)

Looking aft towards the cockpit, with the off-centre cabin doorway. The hump in the centre is over the engine bay. (Most Eastwoods were originally fitted with Renauilt petrol engines, which were small enough to fit under the double dinnette seat, but when this one was re-engined with a BMC 1500 diesel, the engine hood had to be extended, turning the double-dinnette into a one & a half dinnette).

The BMC 1500 diesel shown from the cockpit.
